Meet the founder

Christopher Harris is an experienced SEND leader, qualified teacher and specialist with more than 20 years’ experience supporting children, young people, families and educational settings.

He holds a Master’s Degree (Distinction) in Special Educational Needs and Additional Needs, the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCo) and Qualified Teacher Status. He facilitates the National Professional Qualification (NPQ) for SEND and serves as Nationwide Operational Lead for Therapeutic Thinking within a large Multi-Academy Trust.

My professional experience in SEND is complemented by more than 25 years of voluntary advocacy supporting children and families affected by health needs. I was born with congenital heart disease and have used that lived experience to advocate for children and young people whose health needs can affect their education, wellbeing and access to support.
